South Africa. Police in Limpopo reported the death of a 14 year old who drowned in a water-filled mine hole near Tsantsabela village close to Marble Hall.

The boy drowned on Tuesday the 14th of April when he was unable to get out of the hole after swimming.

According to Superintendant Mohale Ramatseba, the boy’s body was retrieved on Wednesday the 15th of April morning.

Superintendant Ramatseba added that a mining company opened the exploration hole over ten years ago.
